Turtle arrived at Private Beach at D’Wharf Hotel

Turtle arrived & laid 154 eggs at Private Beach
Sea Turtle Nesting: A sea turtle laid 154 eggs on the private beach of D’Wharf Resort Hotel, Port Dickson, marking a new nesting site. Hotel staff, including the general manager, witnessed the nesting process and are excited about this rare event. Plans are in place to apply for facilities to protect and incubate the turtle eggs, similar to other local conservation sites. The beach is closed at night and patrolled by security to ensure the safety of the nesting site.
This exciting two-day event will feature a Merdeka Eve countdown and Merdeka Day festivities at two vibrant venues – D’Wharf Hotel Roadside and the PD Waterfront Bazaar. Join us as we come together to commemorate Malaysia’s independence with a spectacular display of cultural performances, delectable local cuisine, and unforgettable family-friendly activities.
